Use responsive ads on your audiencecampaigns,3separate from your search campaign. The Microsoft Audience Network can support two responsive ad formats: image-based ads and feed-based ads. Responsive ads automatically adjust to accommodate the sizes and shapes of native ad formats.

Use image-based ads to engage your customers with eye-catching visuals. Images are compatible across different platforms, publishers and placements, allowing you to use existing assets from your campaigns on the Google Display Network and Facebook.

You have twoways to run Microsoft Audience Ads powered by the Microsoft Graph:

Your existing search campaign is extended to include Microsoft Audience Ads on the Microsoft Audience Network. Continue using a single budget to conveniently manage all campaigns and increaseclicks from target audiences.

The option to extend your search campaigns is currently in beta only in the U.S., U.K., Canada and Australia.

Manage your audience campaign with a dedicated budget and optimized performance metrics. The audience campaigns budget is separate from your search campaigns.

Audience campaigns are currently in closed beta only in the U.S.

Microsoft Audience Ads are image-centric. You can take full advantage of these premium placements by quickly and easily managing images via Image Extensions.

Audience Ads

Microsoft Audience Ads are high-quality native placements in theMicrosoft Audience Network. The ad placements are cross-device and include premium sites that are brand-safe like MSN, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Edge and other partners (U.S. only), with more to come. High quality native ad formats naturally blend into the core user experience.

Not everyone is enabled for Audience campaigns in the Microsoft Audience Network yet. If you dont, dont worry. Its coming soon.

You can prepare for the Microsoft Audience Network pilot now by:

Add images via Image Extensions. By adding high-quality images, you can gain access to more volume outside of the SERP, and more high-quality clicks and conversions in brand-safe placements. All the while, you get to manage Microsoft Audience Ads in the familiar, easy-to-use Bing Ads platform.

Optimize Microsoft Audience Ads. You can optimize Microsoft Audience Ads by extending search campaigns and ad groups with audience ads bid adjustments.

Refine your audience targeting strategy on search. Get up and running with Remarketing, In-Market Audiences (in pilot) and Custom Audiences (in pilot). That way an audience targeting strategy will be ready to go with separate audience campaigns if you choose to run them later.

Implement and update your UET tag. Ensure youre ready to use the Product Audiences targeting dimension with new parameters available as part of the audience campaigns pilot.

Intent data from search can be used outside of search to create a powerful match between the users intent and your offering.

User intent targeting e.g., Remarketing in paid search, In-market​ audiences​, Custom audiences, and Product audiences (Coming soon withAudience campaigns).

User profile targeting​ e.g., Professional profile targeting via LinkedIn (Coming soon withAudience campaigns), Age and gender​ targeting

Our advertising offers, including audience marketing solutions, are anchored in the consumer audience understanding provided by the Microsoft Graph. The Microsoft Graph data sets include search and web activity, LinkedIn profile data, demographic and customer data.

There are two great ways to run Microsoft Audience Ads:

For convenience, you can extend existing Search campaigns with image ad extensions and audience ads bid adjustments.

With Audience campaigns you will have control to separate your budgets, ads, and bids from Search campaigns.

The Microsoft Audience Network supports three ad formats: image-based ads, text ads and feed-based ads. For convenience, you can extend existingSearch campaignswith image ad extensions and audience ads bid adjustments. WithAudience campaignsyou will have control to separate your budgets, ads, and bids from search campaigns.

Bing search ads in the Bing Network: For example, create aSearch campaign, expanded text ads and image ad extensions.

Bing search ads in the Microsoft Audience Network: For example, create aSearch campaign, expanded text ads and image ad extensions. In addition, set the audience ads bid adjustment to indicate whether you prefer audience ads for the campaign or ad group.

Microsoft Audience Ads (image-based) in the Microsoft Audience Network: For example, create anAudience campaignand responsive ads. Note that Microsoft Audience Ads refers to the ad placement, while responsive ad refers to the data type that is used via the Bing Ads API for specific scenarios.

Microsoft Audience Ads (feed-based) in the Microsoft Audience Network: For example, create anAudience campaignwith the Bing Shopping setting.

For image-based or feed-based ads in the Microsoft Audience Network, youll need to be enabled for Audience campaigns. With Audience campaigns you will have control to separate your budgets, ads, and bids from search campaigns.

For image-based Audience Ads in the Microsoft Audience Network youll create an Audience campaign with responsive ads. Note that Microsoft Audience Ads refers to the ad placement, while responsive ad refers to the data type that is used via the Bing Ads API for specific scenarios.

The CampaignType must be set to Audience.

The Languages list must include All.

The Language and Network are not applicable for ad groups in Audience campaigns and cannot be set.

Include aTargetSettingwith oneTargetSettingDetailfor eachCriterionTypeGroupthat you will use. Your target criteria might change over time, so you can always go back to add or update the ad group setting later.

Add images viaAddMediathat will be used later with your ad. Bing Ads supports the same aspect ratios and image specifications as the Google Display Networks responsive display ads and Facebook Audience Networks image ads. Use the AddMedia operation to add images with the required dimensions and aspect ratios. For more information, seeImage Data Object Remarks.

One landscape (wide) image with aspect ratio 1.91:1 and one square image with aspect ratio 1:1 are required.

One landscape (wide) logo with aspect ratio 4:1 and one square logo with aspect ratio 1:1 are optional.

Set the LandscapeImageMediaId and SquareImageMediaId using the identifiers of the required media that you added in the previous step.

Optionally set the LandscapeLogoMediaId and SquareLogoMediaId using the identifiers of the optional media that you added in the previous step.

Set the required BusinessName, FinalUrls, Headline, LongHeadline and Text elements.

Add age, company name, gender, industry, job function, location, or radius criteria for the ad group e.g., viaAddAdGroupCriterions.

Retrieve theAdGroupe.g., viaGetAdGroupsByIdsand make sure the PrivacyStatus is Active. If your targeting is too narrow then youll need to include more targeting dimensions e.g., a broader set of industries or locations.

For feed-based Audience Ads in the Microsoft Audience Network youll create an Audience campaign with shopping settings.

Set up the customers Bing Merchant Center store. In the Bing Ads web application, click

Create aproduct catalog, and then submit the catalog feed viaFTPor theBing Ads Content API.

Product Conditions for Feed-Based Audience Ads

Multiple product conditions can be specified for each Audience campaign. Each condition is met if the products attribute value equals the operands attribute value. For example, ifOperandis set to Brand andAttributeis set to Contoso, the condition is met if the value of the product catalogs Brand attribute is equal to Contoso.

Five custom label operand values are available i.e. CustomLabel0, CustomLabel1, CustomLabel2, CustomLabel3, and CustomLabel4.A custom label defined by the merchant.

Custom labels e.g. CustomLabel0 and CustomLabel4 are not validated based on any hierarchy.

For convenience, Audience ads are also available as an extension of search network via image ad extensions, and are targeted to user intent based on various combinations of search history, page content, and past user behavior. Audience ads on the search network are created automatically by Bing Ads leveraging all of your Bing Ads creative elements including ad title, text, URL, and ad extensions including image extensions. The ads created using the search creative assets are then displayed to the user in native placements depending upon the surface area e.g. if a user is reading an email in Outlook then the placement will be native to the inbox environment versus if the user is clicking through a slideshow on MSN, then the ad will match the slideshow look and feel. This kind of native placement enhances user experience and delivers better engagement with the campaign.

Images play a key role in getting peoples attention and driving clicks. You can define the imagery to use in your ads by associating Image Extensions to your campaign or ad group. If you dont have Image Extensions, our system may automatically use Image Annotations to increase the number of placements for your Microsoft Audience Ad. Image Annotations are licensed stock images that are editorially reviewed for quality and relevance and then matched with appropriate ads (to opt out of Image Annotations,contact support).

You can set a bid adjustment for each campaign and ad group. The bid adjustment is the percent amount by which to adjust your bid for audience ads above or below the base ad group or keyword bid. Supported values are negative one hundred (-100) through positive nine hundred (900). Setting the bid adjustment to -100 percent will prevent audience ads from showing for the campaign or ad group. If you do not set a bid adjustment for your ad groups they will inherit from the campaign bid adjustment setting by default.

You can manage audience ads settings with either theBulk ServiceorCampaign Management Service. You should use theBulk Serviceif you need to upload or download a high volume of entity settings. For example you can update all ad groups for your entire account in a single upload. In comparison, with theCampaign Management Serviceyou can only update 100 ad groups per call and those ad groups must be in the same campaign. For details see the following sections.

TheBulk Serviceservice create, update, and delete operations can be completed using Bulk upload. You can use Bulk download to read back your data. For more information seeBulk File SchemaandBulk Download and Upload.

These are the Bing Ads entities with properties for managing Audience ads that can be accessed using theBulk Service. Use theBid Adjustmentcolumn of the following records to get and set the Audience Ads bid adjustment.

For example you can follow these steps to set up an image ad extension for audience ads.

You can use theBulk Servicefor most steps, but you will still need to use theCampaign Management Serviceto add media to your accounts media library.

Performance Reports for Audience Ads

For Audience ads reporting and analysis you can use the two new Audience specific reports i.e.,AgeGenderAudienceReportRequestandProfessionalDemographicsAudienceReportRequest.

For reports that are not specific to Audience campaigns e.g.,KeywordPerformanceReportRequest, you can set theAdDistributionReportFiltertoAudienceif you only want audience ads data. You can also include theAdDistributioncolumn in most performance reports. The possible values returned in the downloaded report are Search and Audience, so you can quickly discover performance data specific to Audience ads.

Performance data for audience ads will be included in existing reports by default, with a few exceptions. TheSearchQueryPerformanceReportRequestandShareOfVoiceReportRequestreports will not have Audience Ads performance metrics even when ad distribution is an included column or included filter.

Word 2016 is excellent but Microsoft appears to have gone out of its way to make it difficult to purchase. Finding Word 2016 to purchase was difficult. While I appreciate your desire to promote Office 365, there are a lot of people who simply dont want or need the entire Office suite, particularly since it lacks a graphics function (a.k.a. Visio).. You may want to consider rewriting the download procedure to include a notice that there is a substantial lag between when ordering the product and actually being able to download it.

I have used Word 2016 for a few months now and have been continually disappointed by the omission of the Grammar & more capability. I would hope that the addition of this important aspect of Word will be forthcoming soon. If not, I would find it difficult to continue the use of this product.

I purchased this product, and it does what I need it to. I never have an issue. That is a plus… I will say that considering you can use so many free products now a days that are very good paying for Office is pretty lame…. I mean google docs does all the same stuff, but is free… I think that we pay so much for our Microsoft computers/OS that it should come included.

I have used Word for years. One of the key features I relied upon was the grammar check. Primarily, the passive sentence detection. When I upgraded to Word 2016, this feature was removed. I use this feature so much, I would NEVER have upgraded if I was aware this had been upgraded out of the product.
