My HTC One M9 is stuck on a reboot loop and have followed all the steps given to factory reset, it is still not working I need urgent assistance.

I have been using HTC One M9+ for few months. This is beautiful. But sometimes some weird behavior makes me very annoying. For example, I wanted to change the Clock widget from my home screen and thats why I removed the clock by dragging it from the screen. Whenever I tried to retrieve the Clock it cant be possible. Though It said in Tips & Help option how to add apps or widget on home screen (Press and Hold a widget from widget panel to put it on the home screen), but it is not working for the Calendar & Clock widgets in this way (others widgets can be added). Actually, I reset my phone completely to get rid of this situation by compromising everything (removed downloaded apps, documents, music etc.). Since Its not the real way to solve this matter because I cant remove my documents and apps by resetting my phone always.

For months now I have been trying to find out if HTC 10 will be offered I South Africa but no one seems to be able to help. We had bought a Mobile Phone Model HTC Desire 526G+ Dual SIM 10th April 2015 and only after 2 months there is some issue in Display. We have been following up past 3 days against service request. Hi. I have my second htc phone, I like the brand but my problem with them is that the the repair places I went to cannot fix my phone. It fell into water what can you do to help me. It was a birthday present that my wife bought for me knowing that I love your brand. I only had it for one month and it got damaged. Please help I am stressed.

I bought a brand new HTC butterfly in malaysia, within 2 weeks now facing problem with the mic. I sent it for repairing,but still face the same problem. Contacted the local HTC service center and complained , but they did not take as a serious issue. Until now it is still pending.

I recently bought HTC desire SV. It was such a defective phone. Also the customer service is very bad. I dont think this brand suits the Indian market. They are selling bad products, and technicians do not know how to solve problems. You cannot fool the consumers.

I own a HTC desire v (IMEI ) bought in OCT 2012 which have a hardware/software problem. Initially there were thin lines which appeared on the screen. Customer support executives suggested few checks which I performed post which they suggested to visit the service center which I did and got the screen replaced. Post the screen change now the device restarts automatically with error message Abnormal Reset. Secondly the plastic body is not fixed properly (as it makes little sound). The customer care agents say that the records from the service center are not updated and try the same old techniques which do not work any ways. Now if the records are not updated how is the customer responsible for it. Its again HTC guys playing with the customers. I have spent a lot of time on the HTC call centers and a visit to their service center and can not afford to do it any more. Why is HTC not understanding that harassing the customers will not solve any purpose rather they would loose the respect they have earned as a brand. I am sick and tired of the issue now and not at all willing to accept a device with already having issues in it. I am very sorry to say but HTC has lost all its respect in my life and will never buy HTC in my future. It is not possible to for me to spend a sum of INR16500 twice for cell phones. Kindly get the device replaced or will have to knock the doors of the Consumer Court as HTC is seriously harassing me now. Kindly acknowledge and help in resolving the issue. i just purchased a htc desire VC dual sim cdma-GSM. It is a terrible phone. The camera is worse! And the battery does not charge properly and the backup is of very few hours. Probably not more than 2 hours. I feel lost getting this mobile. Plus the customer service of htc in Indonesia is pathetic.

It is quite ridiculous that my phone appears to hold no charge,

Especially seeing as my use of it is not all that large.

I am yet to browse the internet and have only downloaded a few apps,

Surely the battery should be able to handle that!

And then, even when I go to charge my phone,

(Which- let me tell you- is every time Im at home!)

The status of fully charged- it never quite reaches that ascent,

Instead seems insistent on staying at ninety-nine per cent!

I want to know what you intend to do,

For I am at a loss and have no clue.

I definitely dont think that I can bear,

Having to charge my phone everywhere!

Hi, I have purchased HTC EVO 3D handset through online. I stay in India and the Device is manufactured in Turkey. Now my device says there are Updates available for Android 4.0. When I contacted the customer care of India regarding the Update they told me to contact the Customer care of Turkey, for confirming whether the Device would be LOCKED after performing the Update. So I would appreciate if somebody could help me on this.

I bought HTC ONE V on contract from Nashua Mobile in Johannesburg,the phone came without a manual,no SD Card,no Internet cable and the wi-fi does not connectit keeps saying connecting but never get connected.I spoke to a lady in Johannesburg who helped with the application for contract but she ran away when I raised these complaints with her.Can someone help, or is it ok that the phone does not come with manual, internet cable to connect to PC and no SD Card?

Please read the below correspondence and advise. After contacting my service provider via email and receiving no response and then contacting them on their CellC Facebook page and receiving no help, I am now desperate. I dont know what to do about this handset:

The specs advertised were not what I received on the phone.

It says there is 512MB internal storage on the phone, I only have 140MB, after installing ONLY Facebook HTC Sense, Whatsapp, and a Volume+ which cannot be moved to SD card, I have 17MB free.


I cannot delete any of the pre-installed apps that were on my phone when I bought it, apparently they cannot be removed or moved to the SD card.

I have deleted all contacts from my phone and have them saved on my sim-card and dont allow contact linking. Even this does not help with the memory.

I have no other apps installed other than the 2 listed above which ANY smart phone should be able to accommodate as everyone uses these applications, and Volume Booster see below.

Any time I want to do anything on my phone, Im told the internal memory is low and have to go through the process of cleaning up the memory before Im able to do what I want to do, even though the clean up does nothing.

Its all very well that the advert of the phone says BROWSE THOUSANDS OF APPS! What it doesnt mention is that you cannot install any of them because the phone has pathetically low internal memory.


The volume levels on this phone are a joke! I could not even play songs or videos for friends until installing volume booster (204kb) which improved the volume a tiny bit. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PHONE MEMORY WAS ALREADY CLAIMING TO BE LOW AND THE PHONE WAS HANGING BEFORE I INSTALLED THIS APP. Its not a speaker problem though, even when using headphones, the volume level is ridiculously low. I have missed messages and phone calls because of this problem.

I guess it doesnt matter though as the phone is so slow that when I pull the ring to unlock it, it hangs for up to 5 minutes before I can do anything. This isnt a touch screen problem. The phone just hangs.

When I have an incoming call, I unlock the phone and it will continue to ring, but the phone hangs, so I cannot answer the call. I can just sit and stare hopelessly at the screen as the person attempts to call me.

The same thing happens with my alarm. It will go off and I unlock the screen and then it hangs so I cannot select dismiss. I have endured the alarm going off at sleep intervals for over an hour because I cannot dismiss the alarm. I eventually have to go and deactivate the alarm setting so that it will stop going off. If I forget to activate it again though, I miss appointments because my alarm doesnt go off.

The camera also boasts great shots with the 5 MP camera with flash. If the phone doesnt hang when attempting to capture a special moment, the picture it snaps is almost always grainy or blurry. It appears like a good picture on the phone, until it is loaded onto a computer or social site. This is extremely disappointing as I have lost out on loads of wonderful picture moments that I could have easily captured forever if the camera did what is promised.

I am currently unemployed and have missed several job opportunities due to not being able to answer calls as listed above and therefore not being booked for interviews.

This is causing copious amounts of depression and stress in my life and as I am unemployed, cannot afford to do anything about it.

Why not book interviews via email? Well, my phone no longer downloads email because the memory is too low.

How about getting job updates via the twitter application peep? The memory is too low to load peeps.

And Facebook? Well it continues to freeze and the force close option comes up.

I have sent though an email about this phone already, and received a call from the international call centre telling me to take the phone in to be repaired.

So now I must sit without a phone for several weeks (even though Ive only had the phone for 7 weeks) to see if there is an error with it?

I dont think this is at all fair to me and is certainly not good customer service.

I truly believe that I should be given a new phone that delivers all the features promised by the website.

I paid for a service I have not received and the error is on HTCs side. I want what I paid for!

I havent even had this phone for 3 months, its still brand new and would either like a full refund or given a new phone.

Please could you get back to me and advise what I should do?

I didnt bother replying as the email is a no-reply address and I wasnt going to go through the website again and get ANOTHER person who asks me to do everything again and ANOTHER ticket number.

I received from your call centre today.

They were very unhelpful and said whatsapp is the reason my phone isnt working.

Even though on the website for the Wildfire S it states that you can browse and download thousands of apps.

I download one of the most used apps by android and get told its the reason for the trouble Im having?

I was then told I need to send the phone in and they cannot give me a loan unit for the duration of the repair time. They said they cannot confirm when there will be units available and because they cant confirm that, they cant follow up as to when there will be one.

I cant go without a phone because they want to repair my unit that isnt even three months old and might not even have a hardware problem. I need a phone.

Should I advise all future HTC users to get a backup phone because the customer care cant provide for their customers?

The lady (I didnt get her name as her accent was very bad) said there was nothing else she could do.

I then asked to speak to a manager or superior and she said there was no one there.

I asked for contact details of a manager and she said she didnt have any to give.

She said she would email her manager and get her to call. I asked for that email and she said she wasnt allowed to give it to me.

I then asked why a customer wasnt allowed to have contact details of the customer care representative and she put me on hold.

She then got back to me about 5 minutes later saying she was going to put me through to her manager.

I can only assume now that she was lying about no one being there.

The manager, Iman, claimed to be the Head of Customer Care for HTC South Africa. She told me she understood my dilemma and wont close my case but escalate it.

I have no idea where the head of the department escalates queries to, but none the less, thats what she said and she told me she would let me know if they could find a loan unit but that the service is not actually offered.

When I asked her for her contact details so I could follow up in case I dont hear from them, she told me she didnt have any.

I asked for an email and she said she doesnt have email.

I asked for a number to call her on and she said she didnt have one. I asked for the number of the phone that she was speaking to me on at that very moment and she gave me the call centre number.

I asked her for her extension and she said she didnt have one.

I do not understand how the Head of Customer Care for HTC South Africa does not have an email address, direct line, or extension number.

Please could you advise what I should do now? Im VERY frustrated and upset!

I have a HTC desire s, my 3rd one due to touchscreen errors claimed through phone insurance!!!! It now turns off unexpectedly and shuts down with no error report at least 3 tines a day.
